Sit down. Slow down.
Find a position where your body feels comfortable.
Lean back in your chair,
or allow yourself to simply stare into the distance.
You can also look out of the window. Look hard. Think. Dream.
••
Perhaps you have prepared a cup of tea or coffee.
Now, let time slow down.
Feel the warmth,
the scent,
the touch between your hand and the object.
Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable and focused state.
•••
Now, look at the blank canvas.
Do not pick up the pen yet.
Just look:
What are you?
Not your name.
Not your identity.
But the image quietly forming in your mind.
••• •
Forget about your techniques and habits.
Do not try to draw a specific image.
Let your fingertips think and express.
They can become:
a line,
a symbol,
a shape,
a pause,
a moment of hesitation.
Allow them to remain on the canvas,
messy and unfinished.
••• ••
Look back.
Find the part that attracts you the most.
It may not be the clearest one.
It may even be a mistake.
Begin from here.
Imagine the world behind it.
Where does it come from?
What is happening there?
What could it become?
••• •••
Look closer.
What is it?
If a single moment could be endlessly extended,
what would happen inside it?
Let it transform into a new scene,
a place that does not yet exist.
A new world.
